Santiago is a Director of Photography based in London. He grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he completed a Masters in Cinematography at Universidad del Cine in 2008.

He started working in music videos and short films after university, gradually progressing onto documentaries filming wild horses in Patagonia and travelling the world with surf documentaries.

 

In 2013 Santiago moved to London to expand his career globally. He worked in commercials for production companies such as Stink, Somesuch, Knucklehead, Friend, Rankin Film and more. He then ventured into the narrative industry in the DIT and camera department working for FX productions, Amazon, BFI and Warner Bros, working alongside Oscar winners Danny Boyle and Anthony Dod Mantle amongst other inspiring people.

 

Santiago is now a DOP working mainly in commercials but also in the constant lookout for collaborations in narrative projects.
